Great stay for a great deal

Our stay at The Ro was a great. Nice clean room, well catered for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was enjoyable. The spa was pleasant, but there wasn’t a steam room or sauna.
The terrace out the front of the hotel was so peaceful and had lovely views. The house wine was a winner.
Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable.

Yes we did enjoy the Ro hotel we had a lovely room. The staff were all excellent. We would say that the menu was good. But could be improved by maybe adding a steak. Also could offer a free car park. Overall we did enjoy our visit to the Ro hotel.p

Disappointed having to pay £10 per day for parking. Website states limited free spaces however payment required for all spaces. Surrounding accommodation all had free parking for residents.
Lovely break

The hotel and staff were excellent and very close to centre. Only downside is the £10 a night parking charge.
Good buffet English breakfast but not real continental choice.
Evening menu limited, but salmon was delicious and we ate out second night-5 minute stroll.
A great value for money stay!

We stayed for 2 nights during the May heatwave. All staff we encountered were kind and friendly and helpful when needed. Our room was spacious and clean with spectacular views! I only wished we had upgraded to a balcony room.
The breakfast was ideal in the morning and the coffee was great!
We sadly never made it to the health club but heard it was great too!

Enjoyed our stay at the RO , it has been refurbished since the last time we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful , rooms good size and buffet breakfast very good.
The hotel is in an excellent location short walk from main town , up quite a steep hill so not great for those with mobility issues.
The hotel now charges for parking £10 per day but they give you a 25% discount code if your a guest.
Will definitely return
A delightful visit

We had a delightful visit to the Ro very recently where we took full advantage of the facilities the hotel had to offer including enjoying the Spa and the outside terrace. (The latter benefited from unseasonably sunny weather in late March!!)
Right from the start we had a lovely warm welcome from Paul and Dewmi on reception where we were allocated a very comfortable, good sized room and en-suite. In the dining room for the duration of our stay Thalina and Michael couldn’t have been more attentive or helpful — nor could Fred in the bar.
All in all the personal and professional attitude of the hotel staff contributed greatly to a very enjoyable stay at The Ro and we look forward to a return visit sometime in the future!

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Although it is a very old building it is nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were lovely with a good choice. Great value for money. Very central although it has a short steep hill to walk down into the town and back up. Certainly keeps you fit!

Lovely large 3rd floor room with views of the lake from both windows. Bottle of prosecco in ice cooler waiting. Modern large en suite
Sensible level of heating.
Great buffet breakfast with plenty available even near the end of service.
Staff were all friendly and efficient.
Relaxing bar area
Wellness and spa area very nice. Small ladies changing area which would be tricky if busy
Across the car park from main hotel building.
Only negative was no dinner service available Sunday to Thursday. Don't know if this changes after Easter.
