Service was perfect- from the doorman who stood outside the building to the waiting staff ! The food ( had the beer battered fish) was so nice.

For the limited menu and choice of cocktail I didn’t feel the voucher was value for money.
Staff could have been more attentive to the tables.
I found the fruit fly infestation a bit off putting we had several flying around while we ate.

Staff members made us feel welcome there uniform was lovely old fashioned looking but modern twist. Atmosphere very nice too clean table cleared quickly to reset after each meal. Food was great we both enjoyed the food we chose portions large flavoursome and excellent menu.

We love The Citizen. It has wonderful ambience, great service and, most importantly, great food. The Itison 2 courses and a cocktail offer is a fantastic deal. We have visited The Citizen many times and it's probably our favourite restaurant. It never fails to excel and this is a restaurant that you never leave feeling hungry!
