Really enjoyed our stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Would have maybe liked a couple of changes to the menu, but overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return

The B&B offer from Itison was very good. The hotel room and ensuite shower room were excellent. The breakfasts were really good - up there with the best. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there one night and although the duck was good, the portions of the potato and cavolo nero were quite small given the price and the roast onion wasn't a great addition and one onion was practically raw, Having said that my wife said her blue cheese fondue dessert was one of the the best ever.
We would definitely go back to this lovely hotel.

Staff very attentive and excellent service. Lovely hotel in beautiful settings. Two minor negatives were a very limited choice on the mains courses of the dinner menu and mattress in our room a bit uncomfortable.

Maryculter House is a beautiful historic hotel set in great surroundings. All the staff were extremely friendly, our room with a river view was fabulous!

This was a return visit. I was disappointed the evening meal menu was unchanged over the 2 nights and the choice was limited.
The reception area was warm and well lit. The lounge was cold and dark and the logs for the open fire were damp causing lots of smoke!
