not sure what to expect from the blackbird, definitely a good pub eatery 3 course plus a nice bottle of vino , all dishes where lovely apart for the calamari which was a bit chewy but not off putting.
overall extremely great value and will go back soon.

Some staff very good, some not so making service very sporadic. Food good when we got it. Waited a long time to get 3 starters out of 4 and asked did we want the outstanding starter with our main? Maybe as soon as it was ready would have been better. Mains good. Dessert a ridiculous time waiting for something than should never have taken any time to make especially as 2 desserts arrived, sorbet, and were eaten before other 2.

It more than met our expectations - with the £69 food and wine offer we were able to choose anything from the small plates/starters, mains and dessert options. The bottle of rose wine was decent and overall very good quality food and value for money!

We loved it! Even better than expected! The menu covers all tastes, the staff impressed me at all stages, the decor is interesting, and I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their tasty fare. 🤩
