Nice setting, staff very attentive, food good but a distinct lack of vegetables for a roast dinner, one tiny stem of broccoli and one carrot baton!

Far too busy and slow service. Staff were friendly but everything took ages. Would not go again for that deal on a Sunday.
Tasty Sunday roast but disappointed that drinks were not included and food was lukewarm.

Meal wasn't hot with a tiny portion of vegetables. Beverages were extra and very dissapointed that we were told to return on another visit for the guided tour.
It was really good. The food was excellent as were the waiting staff.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the tour when we went as they're was a wedding on but we were supplied with vouchers to be used at a later date (valid until next March).
We had a walk around the gardens which were lovely :)

Sadly disappointed
The food was OK, but we were hoping for more
Also when we asked about the tour we were told there was none as there was a wedding on - we were given a voucher for the tour, but that means another 50 mile round trip and presumably more (great) expense in having something to eat or drink there
Why were we not told that no tour was available?, as I presume these weddings are booked in advance

Tour was decent.
Food was fairly good.
Service was friendly, but very inefficient. Multiple mistakes made: wrong menus given, which was only noticed by staff long after orders had been taken; had to ask multiple times for water (despite having been spontaneously offered it when first seated); one main was somehow omitted from our order so one person's food arrived about 15 mins. after everyone else's; and finally the bill was presented including all the mains which were covered by the Itison vouchers (despite having presented the vouchers on entry).
Also, the table wobbled.

On arrival early to take the tour prior to our lunch only to o find out that the tours were not happening due to a wedding function
That said I received an apology and a voucher tibree e turn at a timeI of our pleasing
The matter was handled with great courtesy and professionally by t ty he staff who immediately got us a table
The food and ambiance of the place was first class again with well trained and helpful staff
Nothing was a problem and we will look forward to having lunch and our Audiov trip around the house.

We had the brunch deal. When we arrived the tour was about to close for a wedding so the girl in the restaurant suggested we go before our brunch. She said that it was no problem to be later than our reservation time. We thought that was very good service. All the staff were charming and helpful.
Our brunch and coffees were delicious and high quality and the atmosphere was great. Great experience as usual,
