Sat outside under the canopy, enjoyed our brunch and cocktails in the sun. So good I’m going to purchase another voucher. Would definitely recommend.

Meat was a bit tough and vegetables could have been cooked a little longer. Service was very good and for the price we paid, we couldn't complain. Spent an enjoyable afternoon.

What we had was lovely but ordered the full Scottish breakfast and was disappointed when it arrived with 3 items missing from those mentioned on the menu.
When we queried at the end if the items on the menu were different as we had an Itison voucher we were told no they were no different . The girl said we should have mentioned it and she would have gone and got the missing items ( beans ,hash brown and Lorne sausage). When we realised we were well through our meal so wasn’t really any point, but when items are listed and you are routinely producing these breakfasts every day you don’t expect not to receive what you should be getting!
Disappointed and to be honest puts you off buying Itison deals !

We found the portions too big, not a common complaint, but two from a party of 4 could not finish

Lovely food, very pleasant environment and really nice staff. We have been before on this deal and the only reason for 4 not 5 stars was the 2 course menu didn’t offer as much choice this time and not the same as the one advertised on Itison.

Very welcoming on entrance. The red herring has lovely decor with wood burning fires. Breakfast was superb. Great place, great food, will definitely return

Delicious brunch

Our brunch at The Red Herring was delicious. The staff were attentive and pleasant. We were seated in the outside area which is next to the pavement and road. For me it was a bit noisy there, but I was happy enough to be in the sunshine. I learned later they have a terrace at the back which may have suited me better. The food arrived quickly and was really good. We both had a full Scottish breakfast which went down a treat.
