Great tucked away location that was peaceful on a sunny afternoon. Platter choices were limited due to one being fish based - so we opted for the cheese board which was lovely. We bought a bread entree to go with it because the oatcakes weren't enough. All the food was lovely.

This was our second visit to Abacus - this time taking our friends. As before, the service was outstanding. All three waiting staff were welcoming, polite, knowledgable and immediately put us at ease. Whoever is recruiting or training these young people really know their stuff! Their wine suggestion was spot on. Our food selections - pea and feta soup, crab starter and salmon terrine were all lovely. Chicken balmoral, cauliflower veg main course and fish & chips were equally good. We finished with chocolate mouse and a perfect tiramisu.
Without doubt, we’ll return. Highly recommend!!

When the sun is out it's lovely to sit in the garden.
