Pleasant lunch in a lovely village.
Great food and great value

Second time using the voucher, was just as food as the first time. Had the bbq chicken wings then steak pie. Parther had tempura cauliflower and steak pie. Was able to swap out the mash for chips, so an added bonus. The service was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and more people came in for evening meals. Brilliant value for money and would recommend it to friends and family.

There was 6 of us, including a child. We really enjoyed our meal. The gent who was serving was pleasant and courteous.
The only downside was the ambience could have been better.

When booking, I was told we would be in the bar area. However the bar was very busy and noisy and we were put at a table in the restaurant within minutes of our arrival. Couldn'd have had better attention.

We both had cream of vegetable soup although the soup still had bits. We then waiting nearly half hour before our mains came out. The steak pie was ok the vegetables were too crunchy I did however enjoy my chips.

Lovely food, we had steak pie and salt and a chilli chicken burger and the sticky toffee pudding with tablet ice-cream. Staff are friendly and efficient
