Well impressed with the friendly efficient girl, the only staff member on duty. She managed to serve drinks while going into the kitchen to make everyone's food too. Our maccheese and Mexican maccheese came out well presented with salad, garlic bread and our side of fries, both amble portions. Hope she gets paid double time for doing the work of at least two people! Unless she owns the place and has decided to do all this work herself, her employer needs to re evaluate work rotas! You'll find it difficult to find another person prepared to do this volume of work!

Excellent food and good beer choice, beyond the usual "beer" - had a Brewtoon nitro stout with with Texan burger! They also have Murphys

We arrived just as a very entertaining pub quiz kicked off and were served and seated promptly by a friendly, efficient young barmaid. The menu offers a decent selection of pub grub at very reasonable prices. There's a beer & burger special, where from Tues-Thurs you can get any burger and a pint for £17.50. We both had burgers which were not only tasty but beautifully presented, and the drinks menu is also very reasonably priced. The ongoing quiz - the compere was very funny - meant the venue had a very good atmosphere and we have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for good, simple dishes at a decent price.
