Lack of lockside walks. Roads to hotel not great. Spa a bit basic, treatments ok not the best.
Breakfast lovely service terrible. Had to get our own butter salt and pepper etc from other tables, waiting staff really need trained not sure what they should be doing. Nice room. Dinner not great, wine overpriced. Service terrible. Waited over 1 hour for drinks and starters. Steak for main course very late and cold very poor quality, menu very overpriced

Had a great few days at the hotel. Food, service and staff excellent. Travelled with our dog and bed, towel and bowl with treats left in room for her.

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Our bedroom was much bigger and more lush than anticipated and two separate sinks in the bathroom, along with a large freestanding bathtub, made it all feel quite luxurious.
We enjoyed the Leisure and Spa Facilities and ate well in the Dining Room. The competence and manner of the entire staff group was exemplary.

We had a lovely time , staff were very welcoming .Our room was lovely , only downside was that there was no heating on when we entered our room , so it was cold . It did warm up once we switched it on .
Our first experience taking our dog to a hotel and it was a great success so we will return to this hotel.

Room was clean, comfortable and better than we expected being a dog friendly room. Dogs were made very welcome by staff and the hotel was well situated for short or long walks. One evening there was live music in the lounge which was unexpected and very enjoyable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and friendly. We will definitely be back.

We upgraded our room to get a fabulous view over the Loch and a larger room. It was well worth it. The restaurant was excellent and the bar food was good. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Altogether an excellent visit.
