We were presented with a ‘voucher’ menu, which despite having limited choices, was very good. Service was good, so all in all, a great experience.
Itison Menu not same standard

I love Aberdeen Amerone resturant . I had my retirement there last June 2025 , 54 people .
I had my birthday 2025 in Glasgow Amerone.
Therefore trying to be constructive on my comments on recent visit .
The Itison menu used to be nice , however I’ve found that it’s not so of late .
My minestrone soup was cold , watery snd tasteless. My friend’s black pudding was cold and bland .
We didn’t complain. at the point as the lovely waitress was on her own in that part of the restaurant and run off her feet . We had to wait a while to be served , We told her about the starters , she did apologise and said we should have told her.
My main of chicken thighs was hot , but was just okay . I didn’t finish half of it.
My friends pasta was lukewarm , dry and tasteless .
Both our chocolate ice cream desserts were lovely .
The cocktail with the deal was nice also .
The staff as usual were great. The atmosphere always good.
The Itison menu was always great valve , but I’ve found on last couple visits , the food has not been that great . There are other places that have Itison food deals at the moment .
I won’t buy another Itison voucher for Amerone ,
