I have been to the Iron Duke lots and it never disappoints. I had the ma keels starter and beef chews main and they were both amazing, flavours were well balanced and the portions were very satisfying
The staff are always lovely and friendly and this place has quickly become a Glasgow institution
I’ll be back
Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere.

My friend and I had a very enjoyable meal and would go back again to the Iron Duke.
Extra charges were a nasty surprise but food good

The booking link on the It Is On voucher sight doesn't work, called the restaurant and had to book it directly. My friend had scallops from the small plates menu so we knew that there would be an extra charge for that as it's not included but it was a substantial extra cost and when the bill arrived and asked we were told there were surcharges on both the Ox main course and the posh fish supper, both of which are not noted in the small print section, it only says that it excludes the Beef Wellington and the grill section of the main menu, so that was a naughty and unfair added charge. The waitress was lovely and the food was really great l but they really need to be clear the dishes are that are surcharged and you will charged extra for. Lots of people have the posh fish supper so watch out.
Lovely food

Food was lovely, it was a busy evening. The terms and conditions said certain items were included, however they were actually included at a up charge. This was not expected.
