Delicious food and attentive service

I chose the gnochi with ox meat and it was very flavoursome ; my wife had the trout which was gravadlax with a twist. My main of venison was simply superb . The Houe wine seems overpriced at £30 so I had a pint of Guinness at £7 . The servers were attentive but not intrusive and with our voucher we had a bargain
lovely restaurant lovely grub.

The welcome, is a plus for me. We love the ambience. Music is just right. Have had the pleasure of attendance a number of times. Till the next time. We'll be back.

We had 4 courses and a choice of either champagne or a cocktail.
The snacks were quite quirky and we enjoyed them. My friend had the foccacia and I had the cornichon skewer things.
We weren't too fussed on the choice of starters but the mussels were very fresh.
The main course of chicken was lovely and beautifully cooked.
The cocktails were lovely.
I'd just say that the music could've been turned up a bit to create a better atmosphere.
We'd definitely go back.
Really good - we'll be back!

Although we had a small issue with one of the dishes, everything was dealt with so nicely and in such a friendly manner. Food was great overall though.

Another really enjoyable evening at V of B with an Itison Offer. Its a gastro pub with a nice, relaxed atmosphere in comfy surroundings. Great place to meet friends for drinks or food / drinks in a central location.
Great food - tasty, very generous portions and menus change seasonally so it is not repetitive.
A very good selection of drinks, cocktails at reasonable prices.
Service is great - friendly, welcoming and efficient.
Its a really good Itison offer - hope it will be repeated.
