Has a lovely Friday Night Dinner at The Blacknird on a damp October evening. The place was busy yet the service was attentive and prompt.
Good choice of items on the menu.
Good choice of wines although these were on the pricier side. Could do with a cheaper opening level wine.
All in all an enjoyable experience and would recommend.

used the itison voucher £69 = 3 course plus a bottle of vino 🍷, still great value but when we 1st used a voucher you had a choice of 4 reds or 4 white , now it just a bottle of savie B or a couple of reds plus the steak option was included last time now it had a £6 supplement per steak? just little cut back by the restaurant not stated as previously included. all in all an enjoyable night out.

Staff and service were good. However limited choice of mains. The chicken burger was very disappointing, heavily battered chicken tenders on a dry bun accompanied by a ridiculously large portion of fries.

not sure what to expect from the blackbird, definitely a good pub eatery 3 course plus a nice bottle of vino , all dishes where lovely apart for the calamari which was a bit chewy but not off putting.
overall extremely great value and will go back soon.

Some staff very good, some not so making service very sporadic. Food good when we got it. Waited a long time to get 3 starters out of 4 and asked did we want the outstanding starter with our main? Maybe as soon as it was ready would have been better. Mains good. Dessert a ridiculous time waiting for something than should never have taken any time to make especially as 2 desserts arrived, sorbet, and were eaten before other 2.
