A real treat

This was a lovely treat on a wet dark Edinburgh day.A good selection of sweet and savoury on the cakestand. Plentiful tea and the prosecco was good quality. Theres a busy vibe in Brewhemia so not for a quiet rendezvous, but I loved the vibrancy of it. The afternoon teas were all up in the balcony so it was far enough away from the downstairs noise, that you could hear each other okay. Staff were lovely, couldn't do more.

It was my 1st afternoon tea at Brewhemia and it was very enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
There was plenty to eat, although the fillings on the rolls weren't really to my taste. However the quiche and vegetarian sausage rolls made up for that.
The home made scones were wonderful, as were the lovely cakes..

Everything top notch - except the food was just a little disappointing!!

Everything was top notch - the location of Brewhemia in Edinburgh city centre and therefore easy to reach by public transport, the layout of seating inside Brewhemia was very relaxing, the staff Lisa and Oscar were very attentive, and there was a a very positive 'buzz' from Brewhemia being very busy, and with non stop music playing - the only slight negative was that the afternoon tea food was a bit disappointing with no large size munchy sandwiches as normally included with Afternoon Teas - however I will be looking forward to my next visit to Brewhemia!!
