Having paid for a four course meal, I was disappointed to discover that the restaurant had, very cheekily, counted the Amuse Bouche (usually complimentary) as one of the courses.

Although I have eaten in the Anchor line before, this was the first time I have done so using an Itison voucher and also the first time I had tried the set meal. It was excellent from the welcoming cocktail to the affogato desert. The staff were charming, the food was tasty and it was incredible value for money.

The food and service was great but the restaurant was really very cold. So much so, when we finished our meal and went through to the bar area to finish our drinks it was so uncomfortably cold we left without finishing them.

Fabulous treatment at The Anchorline every staff member we met were so friendly courteous and professional. The food was first class. We were so looked after definately its our go to place
