I have been a big fan of Drygate for years. Have been going there quite regularly for drinks, food, gigs, etc, with or without itison vouchers. This time, I went there with a voucher. Once we got our table and ordered our food & drink (included in the voucher), no one ever came to us to ask if how the food is, whether we need more drink, etc. It was okay, we just went straight to the bar to get more beer. But when we were finished, we had to wait quite a while until we got any attention from staff. We had to shout 'excuse me' to staffs passing by to ask them to check my voucher. Finally someone wrote down my voucher code and we expected him to let us know everything is done and we are okay to go (we paid extra beers at the bar, so we knew that there's no additional to pay, but we wanted to have some sort of confirmation). But no one came back to us, just went back to do other things. It was early Sunday, so it wasn't that busy. There were quite many staff members in the hall, so we can't understand why we were getting this poor service. Most disappointing experience at Drygate.

On arrival at drygate brewery we were welcomed with a big smile and made feel welcome, we were seated next to power outlet and told was ok to use food menus supplied and drinks ordered promptly

I've enjoyed this Itison deal before, and enjoyed my visit again this time. The place has a great buzz about it, even on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon in January.
I was disappointed not to be able to swap out the stout on the beer-flight, for another of the 'core range' beers, but the member of staff wasn't flexible on this. Previously, this was allowed. I realise this sort of thing is all down to the individual who serves you. All in all, however, it was a good visit.
