Well, this criticism isn't unique to this hotel, but if much prefer if scatter cushions weren't anywhere. I like my bedding to be washed at , presumably 60°, and then not "contaminated" by either a scatter cushion or a fabric draped over the foot of the bed. Those fabrics aren't washable at 60° and therefore, dust nites will love those things! While I do have allergies, they're not serious, but I seriously thought that post COVID, hotels may change the status quo where this is concerned.
The 1st thing I do when I arrive in a room is pile them all up on the floor. Interestingly, all my friends do the same! -

Took my boyfriend to Carnoustie for his birthday. The spa was lovely, food at the restaurant fantastic and the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following weekend!
