Exactly what we needed for the January blues!
Even though we went at the end of January and the place was almost deserted - we felt welcome by the staff and had a gorgeous room ( Arran) with sea viewAlso - because the kitchen was closed at that time - we were offered a bottle of wine to make up for the lack of breakfast ☺️

Public areas VERY unclean

Cleanliness in public areas could be greatly improved. Piles of seagull poo at front door. Unpleasant smell in entrance hall, dirty glasses & mugs on reception desk . Waited ages for someone to come & check us in, paid extra for seaview. Room very dusty, legs of wardrobe thick with long term dust buildup.
Wasn’t made aware when booking that restaurant wasn’t open.
Self service breakfast fast table was a mess, water , teabags , spilt milk. Uncovered bowls of yogurt with flies buzzing around, mouldy brown bread. Walls and skirting boards splattered with dried in food, complete disregard of attention to cleanliness 🤢 couldn’t face eating hot breakfast in those conditions.
Couldn’t wait to leave.
