Enjoy some close encounters of the furred kind with this itison exclusive event where you’ll enjoy a talk from a Primatologist from the University of St Andrews on the facts and the fictions behind Planet of the Apes before sitting down to a screening of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in the Budongo Trail, home to Edinburgh Zoo’s chimpanzees.

- A screening of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (12A)
- Tickets include a regular tub of popcorn per person

- The screening runs from 6.30pm -9.30pm
- Certificate 12A; Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Seating is unreserved.
- Wheelchairs can access through members gate and there is wheelchair access throughout the park; please note the zoo is on a steep hill
- No advanced booking required.
- Ticket must be surrendered for redemption, please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.
- Ticket is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
- Ticket is non-refundable unless event is cancelled.

Me, husband and our 3 years old had a great evening fun at the giant lanters in edinburgh zoo, we all loved it. Warm drinks and marshmallows as part of the tickets were great too

We absolutely loved the giant lanterns at Edinburgh Zoo. We went at 7.15pm and it wasnt too busy so we were able to fully enjoy the whole display. The path was easy to follow and my 6 year old managed it no problem. A lovely night for all the family. We got the Itison deal which included a hot drink and marshmallows which was super.
