This is a very old classic railway Hotel with the train station right next to it. The Hotel has fabulous views over the local river estuary and beach to the coast and beyond to the local isles of Rúm, Eigg, Muck and Skye.
The Hotel retains most of its original interior and exterior architecture, and has recently had en suites renewals/upgrades and redecoration throughout. The bar and dining room also benefit from new furniture.
The lunch and dinner menus were varied and suitable for all tastes and the servings were plentiful. Breakfast was standard fare from a self service buffet.
As with most hotels today staffing is problematic, with staff doubling up on jobs and responsibilities. Despite this, all staff were professional, helpful and courteous at all times.
We really enjoyed our stay. -

Me and my wife and 2 Dogs🐶🐶 had a great stay food n staff first class abd dogs loved the silver sands. We will go back.
