We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at MacKays on the Mile. The food and drink were very good and offered excellent value for money with Itison.
We chose a particularly noisy afternoon to visit; Scotland v Ireland rugby was being televised. The atmosphere was lively, but it made proper conversation somewhat difficult. That was my fault.
The staff were very attentive and offered assistance to help my elderly mother navigate through the restaurant.
An enjoyable day out.
