The room was better than expected- i didn't realise it was self catering. Very clean. well equipped. It could have done with a small table for preparing and serving food, but since I wasn't cooking it was OK for me. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. Extra thanks to the member of staff who ran me to the station when the taxi was taking too long. Without that I would have missed my train. Sorry, I didn't get her name.

I have always thought of Roomzzz as a budget hotel but was amazed by this hotel. Large room with kitchen. We only used fridge and microwave to warm up the morning croissant though. Large bathroom with rainforest shower and white stuff toiletries. Very comfy bed. No housekeeping unless you staying more than 3 nights however not an issue. Plenty of tea and coffee and milk available in the foyer. There is a small shop there with snacks etc however we did not buy anything there. Only 20 min walk from train station and 15 min walk to hit the centre of York.
