  • Fregola with sun-dried tomato dressing, shallots, mint, dill & asparagus, butter bean fine-herb hummus, crispy chickpeas, pomegranate seeds and endive marinated in blood orange vinaigrette
  • Shetland mussels steamed with white wine, red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, smoked bacon & cream with sourdough bread, burnt lime and dill 
  • Rich and creamy mackerel pate, cornichons, cucumber ketchup, pickled cucumber and toasted sourdough bread

Mains

  • Sweet & spicy Sri Lankan coconut curry, fragrant jasmine rice, lotus root and radish topped with a grilled skewer of gunpowder chicken, king prawns or harissa cauli ower 
  • Citizen steak pie slow-cooked in red wine & port with Cumberland sausage, butter puff pastry, your choice of mash, truffle mash or rustic chips 
  • Beer battered haddock with burnt lime & malt reduction, garden pea purée and rustic chips with home-made Tartar sauce

  • You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.

    I had my girlfriend over from Canada & she had an excellent day at the Citizen loved the uniform of the waiters waitresses & never stopped talking about our amazing meal we will certainly be back thank you .
