We enjoyed a really lovely meal at the Elizabethan last night. Service was excellent and the restaurant area has a lovely ambiance with music pitched at a perfect level.
One of us ate the Christmas dinner which he said was tasty, piping hot and a good size portion. I ate the Mac Cheese which I have to say was as nice a macaroni cheese as I've ever eaten, lots of sauce and plenty of cheese, absolutely delicious! -
Perfect New Year's dinner

We popped in on New Year's day as wanted a break from cooking. We both ordered the steak pie with chips and veg and we were very impressed. The portions were massive, the beef was really tender and there was a lovely selection of veg including sprouts, parsnips and carrots. The staff were friendly and attentive, we had a really nice time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
