Friendly staff and a lovely building currently being refurbished. Breakfast was very good. We were in a recently refurbished room which was spacious and clean but not that well designed - only socket in whole room which was at floor level so you had to put the kettle and coffee maker on the floor to use them, shower lacked power and a mirror in the bathroom is needed. It was a lovely big room but the space in the room hadn’t been used to its best effect - room for three people but only one chair….

Large well located hotel in need of upgrading which is underway, good food and helpful staff.

Easy to find, quick check in and out, good food in the evening and breakfast. Staff helpful, room was large, one light didn’t work, and needs a mirror in the room. Comfy bed, pillows could be better. Needs upgrading, outside painted and carpets replaced. This is underway, not sure when it will be finished. Good bar.
