- The philosophy of The Kitchin is 'From Nature to Plate' where the ever-changing menu is always seasonal and local, using the very best produce from the land and sea of Scotland
- Located in a converted whisky bonded warehouse in Edinburgh's old dock area of Leith
- The restaurant has won numerous awards, including being featured in the esteemed guide La Liste as one of the world's best restaurants
- Chef Tom Kitchin has also become a well-known face on television
- Since its opening in 2006 the restaurant has been celebrated by guests, peers and industry experts, including winning 5th Best UK Restaurant in The Harden's Top 100 UK Restaurants 2023
- In 2007, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star and in 2015 it became the holder of 5 AA Rosettes, both of which the restaurant has held onto every year since

- Lunch: Includes 3 courses from a set lunch menu. A supplementary charge is required per person to upgrade to the a la carte menu; payable directly to restaurant.

- Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking.

From arrival to departure we were well looked after. Lovely cocktails (included in the Itison price which is the same as the advertised set lunch price). Nice options for food and a good bottle of wine (not cheap but excellent. You don’t go there for cheap!) Food was great. Service just right. What more could you want?

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Kitchin with tastes and flavours neither of us had tried before. The staff were extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, plus we also had an opportunity to meet Tom Kitchin and thank him personally for our wonderful lunch. The canapés, little extra treats, and beautiful presentation thoroughly enhanced our experience and made the whole lunch a truly memorable day in Edinburgh.
