We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was at the front looking directly at the castle and was big enough with seating at the window. We were given a bottle of Prosecco on arrival which we took to our room. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Although there is no bar you can sit at, there are lovely comfortable seating areas where you can order a drink and relax. The hotel was warm and clean and Dirleton is a nice village with two hotels, the castle and a lovely church. It’s very close to both North Berwick and Gullane, and we walked a few miles along the Gullane coast. We ate our first meal at the hotel which was nice and for our second night we ate in North Berwick. We feel this was good value for money and would return to this hotel.
