A really great stay!

Our check-in experience was great. We received very clear details on how to get into the hotel and then into our room: it all worked smoothly. The room itself was nice and clean, as was the shower room/toilet. We had three nights' very comfy sleep - and the bed was plenty big enough for us both (including a 6'4" husband!). We had no noise coming from either the restaurant upstairs far less the ferries at the adjacent terminal.
Some online reviews have mentioned the lack of any view in less than positive terms: in fairness this is something which is made clear in the booking details. We found that if you take (and Blu-Tack) a couple of your own pictures or photos then you can make it seem relatively 'homely'.
For what you get at the price in Oban town centre this represents outstanding value for money.
Definitely looking forward to coming back.
