- It’s also played host to an impressive list of guests ranging from actresses, politicians and sports stars since being built in 1872

Every single member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful, from reception, lounge, bar, breakfast service.
We liked the feel to the hotel and its’ location. Our room was at the back of the hotel so a bit noisy first thing in the morning when the bar below was having deliveries. Our room had a nice feel to it and the bathroom was lovely. They were kept spotlessly clean as was the hotel itself. Storage wardrobe/drawers in the room were very good. There was a great variety at breakfast. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return.
