Had a wonderful 2 night stay. We really felt we were living in a castle as opposed to staying in a hotel. It was a very authentic experience. First class food, great choice for breakfast, lovely restaurant and while the menu selection is small, the meal was delicious. Food in the library bar also good. Overall great value, attentive staff and would return, and recommend highly.
Notes for improvement: a small shelf at the side of bed that doesn't have a bedside table would be helpful. The upholstery in the library bar is needing recovered or replaced. A bit grubby - maybe next time don't pick cream colour?
