It would be to easy to criticize the hotel as we arrived during a Wedding reception which obviously slowed service down, other than that we (me, wife and dog) were very happy with the visit

On arrival at reception the receptionist was busy so we waited. We were supposed to get free wine but with no mention we assumed it was in the room. Nope we got the fright of our lives as a man and woman walked out apparently room inspection. Well they might have put a fan in as it was unbearable with the heat and no fan. The bath Matt had a spider or something inside it. Sadly we were not impressed and guess what, no wine. Well the wife said we will get it with our evening meal but again no. I had the fish and it was overcooked, the wife had the chicken and lived it. Pudding was excellent though. The wife enquired about the wine in the morning and was just told they must have forgot! Not I will check, or nothing. Sadly we won’t be back.
